    Default Heated seat live/earth connections

I have just taken delivery of a signum heated/electric leather interior and ive only looked at the passenger seat so far and looked at the pin setup, and it would seem im only missing 2 large pins from the floor loom being the power for the eletric seats. Ive checked the rear fuse box and there is a 40amp maxi fuse missing with pins/wires behind so im guessing the wire goes to somewhere and stops, can anyone tell me where it stops so i can add it to the floor loom and complete the loop? Please help id really like to get this setup complete. many thanks.

    Passenger side goes to Pin6 XR3 to the REC. - fuse - FR3 - 40amp
    Drivers side goes to Pin4 XR3 to the REC. - fuse - FR5 - 40 amp

with pin1 on both seats being the positive. It must be 4mm cable going to it...
    and pin2 being a ground

Its the connector in the rear fusebox with the thick red cables all in it.... Pin numbers marked on the connector...

Thanks for the reply, forgive my ignorance but i had trouble following that lol. Am i right in saying that the fuse box at the rear has a live going to it from the battery or elsewhere, then when fuse is added it sends the live down another cable to the seats, except i have both terminals in the fuse slot but no cable at the seat loom, im struggling to work out where it stops.

in the plug were the present red wires are in the rear fusebox, the wires for
ya live feed to the seats go into the lower part of the plug and has to be
connected to the right terminal locations as plasma has explained.

its pretty easy really, done several for members

will try to take some piccies tomorrow, but basically one of the pins under the seat is just a thick 4mm earth... the other one goes from the other missing pin all the way to the fusebox into the boot and into the top left connecter (i think) into the correct pin... that completes the circuit...

So are we saying that even tho in the heated seat fuse slot i have 2 metal pins, theres not actually any cable coming off and going to the seats and thats what i need to add cable. Im really sorry if im not grasping this, wiring on the newer vauxhalls is not my strong point.

this is to provide movement to the seat as you said their electric? thats nothing to do with heated seats mate...

Question is are they heated only or can you move them electrically, back forward up and down?

They are electrically heated ones. If i can get this correct, i would need to run a live (red) cable to the rear lower of the fuse connection to get the seats powered up? Are they run via ignition or constant live?

the red wires from the rear fusebox that wud normally run up to the
multiplug under each seat is only for the electric movement of each seat,if
youve only got heated seats then you will only need the wiring from the
dash switches to the under seat plugs but you will have to check if you
have the heated switch plugs behind the blanks and if so then you find that
it be all wired in upto the main multiplug behind the passenger inner kick
panel trim and then you have to retro fit the rest of the wiring from the multiplug to
    the plugs under each seat.

if you havent got any of the wiring then it can still be made and fitted
to the car and still get ya heated seats to work.

take a picture of the plugs under the seats, the one which is fixed to the bodywork of the car (with the seat plug disconnected of course) but normally its 5 extra wires per seat if the wiring is missing
