    My point is what numpty buys it off ebay and pays an extra £10 or £20 PLUS postage and you don't get the lifetime warranty. Do people actually do that?

    It's usually on offer for at least 5 months out of the year; I bought mine for £90 from halfords including an online reserve-and-collect discount.

    Find someone with a halfords card too, i think its 10% off or something. Chat your mechanic nicely.

    No, Halfords trade cards don't work when the products already on a special offer. In fact if you buy 3 items on a 3-for-2 offer and use your trade card, you get charged full price for all 3 instead of getting one free.
