Default Who uses blower etc in their mapped cars

Just wondering who uses the "better" quality fuels in their cars.

I have always used v power personally since owning the vehicle and use to use v power derv in my dervs of earlier years and likewise in the petrol cars I had previously.

Just wondering if anyone here uses bog standard fuel in their modded cars and if so what if any difference do they find it has made.

UNSURE WHAT HAPPENED IN TITLE LOL.

On a highly tuned engine it needs high octane fuel like V-Power (99 RON) to ensure high temperature cooling.

Low Octane fuels like 95 RON may cause the engine to run lean and cause engine damage. This has happened, so dont assume its a rare thing.

Cheap fuel is ok on untuned cars, but tuned cars need better consistent fuel

I used to but have found it hasn't made any difference with my car.. used 99 ron when i first had it mapped and made 204@wheels... next time I had it mapped i'd got 95 ron in and the pre-mapping run was 205... though on a highly tuned lump a higher ron rating will decrease chances of detonation.
