Wonder if it's a mistake.....
Decided like alot of others on here, enough was enough with the snowflakes, so they're off and sold. VXR replicas in 18" are now on but can't help but think i've made a mistake. Snowflakes are definitely the better looking, hoping vxr's will be more practical!
You must be gutted, youve sold genuine vaux much desired wheels, for some fake vxr wheels! I think a better option would have been to atleast get 18" 6 spoke snowflakes like on astra vxr, or even xp2 wheels. The replica vxr wheels are usually an upgrade for people from sri alloys, now with the money you sold ur 19" snowies for, you could have gone for the 2 above mentioned wheels, and kept the gunuine look of the car aswell as desired ride comfort and still had nice 18'' vaux rims... if you feel youve made a mistake why dont you re sell them and buy some 18" snowflakes? Or xp2's?
I didn't like the xp 2's to be honest, i looked at the 18" snowflakes but they looked too much like the focus st alloys (dunno why, just my opinion) Only reason I got rid of them is because the mrs seems to have a habit of hitting potholes thereforewas going to end up wrecking them, might've been cheaper trading the mrs!

The vxr reps dont look bad though, av u got normal silver or polish face ones? Any before and afta pics?
Just normal silver ones. I considered the sri ones, but still wanted something a little different (although to be fair most people have them aswell now lol) I'll give them a go for a few months, see how I like them and if i don't then i'll prob just get the sri twin spokes. Once i figure out the pic uploading ill get a couple up

Yeah, as said earlier, I agree. Love the look of them and if the roads where like race tracks I'd be quite happy, Unfortunately it is the most uncomfortable ride out with them and because the wide and low the handling (although good) is far from perfect if you're wanting comfort
got to admit im not a fan of snowflakes but they do look better than the other ones you put on
