Injector seal gone??

Had the sound of a strangled budgie coming from the car over the last couple of days, took the engine cover off tonight and noticed its blowing out of one of the injectors (far right), guessing its the copper seal gone, any idea if this is an easy job to change yourself??

yes but its a pain as you will have to remove all the pipework from the injectors first. also the injector will takes some effort to remove but it can come out by hand (trust me). is it the 120 or 150 you have?? there is a good tutorial on here for removing them, the copper washers are quite cheap from VX too.

Apparently Vx recommend you change the pipes when you remove them! Is this necessary??

nope, mine are all fine still after removing all injectors and getting them cleaned no leaking from the pipes just make sure everything is done up nice and tight

Very common for them to go and almost always that injector next to the battery. Just don't drop anything in the cylinder :P

Well just done the work, thought it was gonna be hard, as injector didnt want to move then suddenly out it popped, cleaned up new seal, job done in 45min, Couple of attempts to start, now running sweet just been on 30 mile drive and what a difference its made.
