was in Isaac Agnew SAAB dealers in belfast last week for 2 drop links,guy in parts told me they had been told it was about to go tits up,chinesse wanted to buy it but GM own the technolgy rights so the deal fell through

MMMmmmm Ive been looking at getting myself a 9-3 2.8T v6 4WD. Its a catch 22 really, the prices will come down so its a buyers market, question would be will it get expensive for parts etc??????

It's a shame but not unexpected. Saab have not made a penny in profit since 1991 when GM bought them.

GM keep blocking the sale of Saab to the chinese as Quote :- "GM has said it would be difficult to support a sale of Saab that hurts GM's competitive position in China and other key markets."

This would imply that GM want Saab to fail and will do everything they can to ensure it does. A number of deals have been put on the table and GM keep blocking them
