No im not going to bang on about if they are legal!!

i have a 55w set in at the moment, but the only replacement bulbs i can find on hids-direct are 35w, will that matter?? are the ballasts watt rated?

I have been wondering the same. Im sure someone once said the bulbs are the same, its the ballasts that rated.

He's in Liverpool. Sell hids from home. might be able to help you with new bulb.

I bought ballast of him for my Astra nice guy an comes 12 month warranty aswel

I was told that can get any bulbs and just change to higher watt ballasts to increase brightness.

Maybe email HIDS Direct the query, they're pretty good on response. My last two purchases through them for 4300k bulbs have been spot on following bad experiences.

Having said that, I bought my HIDS from HIDS-Direct last week and got sent a set that had blatantly been fitted before, the ballasts and cancellors were scratched and the labels were torn and dirty.

That said however, I still fitted them and as they work perfectly I haven't bothered complaining. But due warning they're obviously not that bothered...

must be something with this type of company,.. the 6000k bulbs i removed had plastic bulb plates, the HIDS Direct ones had metal ones and looked better quality,. both work fine tho!

according to other forums, different rated bulbs will work, but have a shorter lifespan

thanks for feedback lads, ill have ordered the 35w ones anyway as there are no 55w ones on hids-direct

ordered some anti glare ones by mistake! i imagine as they are still h7 they should b ok fingers crossed
