Default knocking from the rear driver side please help

hi all please can anyone help me . i have run out of idea's . i have this knocking coming from the rear drivers side. i have change the arb bushes drop links and the upper control arms . i have also checked the brakes pads plus the hub. it only happens when i go over rough road or left hand bends not the right . my garage says it sound like the lower control arms but i undone them from the hub carrier and i dont have any movement in them . i told the garage that it has only be doing this since they done the brake pipes . but they have said it could be somthing i have changed and they want to charge me to have alook . i cant afford for this thats why i do it myself plus i enjoy it . please help me and give me some ideas what it could be . thank you

    What about the shock absorber?
Protect the bodywork by using gloves, lift each side and release
If there is a squek noise then the shock absorber has failed

Sounds like the drivers side shock absorber has failed
Clean the lower edge off, leave for several hours, check for leaks

The nearside on mine failed, it made noises for several months, but the noise could not be diagnosed
It finally failed and started leaking

The noise comes from the internal piston
Under normal use there should be no noise
When the gas pressure has reduced the piston knocks against the body, the noise is then transmitted to the bush and spring, and in turn to the suspension mounts
As a result it makes it difficult to diagnose where exactly the noise has come from
