confused Driver Door Mirror - Someone hit it!!

Hi - Other night My Mrs parked car in a carpark for a few hours and upon her return noticed the driver door mirror pushed outwards and the black moulding cracked. The outer body is fine. So my question is can you buy this seperately and is it easy to remove and replace?

    Thanks

A picture would be helpful, but if its the part I think you mean then its the main mirror housing youll need to replace. I know the pic below is the wrong side, but is it this bit you mean?

Is your mirror heated / dimming / auto folding?

You need part number 24436167. Keep an eye on ebay or as said try scrap yards.

    Here you go

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VECTRA-C-0...item3a6b9f55a3

That is a bargain given the cost of the glass, and the fact that I sold mine for about £90+

You could probably sell the spare parts on for the same as they want for the entire mirror.

I broke a mirror glass recently, £9.95 from Halfords sorted that. If you need the rest, I asked a scrappy, going rate for a complete mirror the right colour is £45

All depends if he wants to keep the auto dim or not
