The only changes I would have wanted was SRI leather and XP/VXR bodykit.
Other than that, I got the car I wanted.

I bought my car brand new and as I wanted it at the time, so it's got all the toys on it I wanted...

That is until I joined this forum, it's had thousands spent on it since then

But, that said, I'm happy with it and still love it.

WAs actually looking for a Saab, but saw the same engine in the Vectra, apart from a few niggles am happy with it, didn't want a facelift as I hate the lights, so therefore cdti not an option for me. I like the 2.2, just needs a bit of tuning, but then, I haven't driven a 1.9 to compare. Got the Sri which looks sharp, though leather would have been a nice option too.

Plenty of pre-facelift 1.9 CDTi cars around.

i upgraded from a preface Active model which had good spec to a facelift elite with factory Xp1... i stayed away from the sri due to lack of spec, then replaced the elite suspension for something which suited me.

    Vehicle : Vectra

    Trim : Sri

    Engine : 2.2 Direct

    Year : 2007

Set out to buy a diesel Signum, ended up with a 2.2 Direct Vectra. Should have stuck to my guns and not worried about either the lack of 3 seats in the back or the list of potentially expensive disasters that could befall the 1.9 CDTi engine.
Would buy a Vectra again, but would get the 1.9 diesel rather than the petrol. Offer me a Signum with a bench-seat in the back, though, and I'd bite your hand off.
