Default Just a quick one! Voltage control question

I was going to put this in the detailing section, but it's more of a general question

I havent got a DA/machine polisher anymore, but I do have an angle grinder/cutter, which compounding head will fit onto. However, this doesn't have a controllable speed, does anyone know of a voltage controller which could be used to restrict power, therefore slowing the head down? Or should I just buy another DA?
