Default Rear view camera with my Pioneer?

Will a rear view camera work with my Pioneer head unit? My headunit can play video from the sd card or usb port. I just fancy a rear view camera for the Vectra for my girlfriend.

Hi I don't know I got a kenwood and you would need a trigger cable from the head unit that when you put the car in reverse it will turn the camera on but I don't think yours has this only the double din head units has this try looking in the settings if there a camera setting there

Could I put the camera on manually? I am not bothered if it comes on auto or just by flicking through the settings, as long as I can see the rear. Cheers

I don't think you can as if you fitted it the camera would be on all the time as for your RCA video input mini jack all camera's come standard RCA fittings not mini jack

You can get a converter for that, I have seen one. It would be nice if it worked. The only other thing I can think of is getting a interior mirrow rear view camera fitted.
