Z20net start up noise

Hi guys ive recently developed an odd noise on start up when cold its coming from the drive belt area with the tensioner and alternator its like a bearing sound is best i can describe it but vanishes i persume when engine is warm anyone got any ideas on this problem

It'll be the alternator belt tensioner mate. Mines does it. Quite a common problem which generally only happens on cold/damp mornings, well it does on mine anyway.

Get yourself a new tensioner and belt and that should sort it

Nice one cheers guys i thought it would be the culprit im not brave enough to do it myself or even have the tools so ill book it into vauxhall soon
