    Default Insignia BiTurbo + MY12.5 updates

    Update came through from Vauxhall yesterday, the Insignia BiTurbo CDTi 195ps is now released and available for order.
    Available in SRi, SRi VX-line & Elite trim and also available in 4x4 manual trim & Hatch or Sports Tourer form.
    Prices start from £27,120 for the SRi 2wd manual up to £33,320 for the Elite automatic.

    Theres also a few other changes coming along for the MY12.5 model:

    -Introduction of front & rear camera system £750
    -Adaptive cruise control replacing the standard cruise
    -New style 18" wheel option for SRi replacing the previous design
    -USB connectivity now standard across the range
    -Luxor paint now available on VX-line models, as are front & rear parking sensors.

    sounds fun.

    £750 for the camera system tho? you can get reversin cameras for under £20 so they are royally taking the p with that price!

    4x4 estate would be fun tho lol

    The camera system also incorporates the likes of road sign recognition, lane departure etc, quite a clever bit of kit.

    Prices seem a bit steep dont they? Is that not nearly the price of a vxr?

    VXR starts at £33,480 upto £37,580 for the VXR Nav Auto tourer.

    I'd like the 4x4 Elite (only in manual though), just been on the VX site and they don't list the TT engine yet on the configurator, my car came to £34k+.
    Be good if they did a VXR-D, 2.9 V6 CDTI Twin Turbo 300bhp and 450lb ft of torque (pity they don't still do a V6 CDTI).
