    Default Non-flip to Flip Key

Has anyone bought one of these before?....... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vectra-Ast...item43aac5d83b

If so, how easy is it to just transfer the remote innards into this key?

Thinking of purchasing one if they are an easier solution to hacking the pcb of my fixed blade key to bits (that and the rubber on my remote is falling to bits)

the links you have are if you want to do it the hard way (like i did), as for the 1st post its a straight swap for the inards, as for the blade you can have it cut if you have your pass code, making sure you get the correct blade..or you can swap the blade from your old key to the new one with some modding.

As far as i know, if yours is the pre-facelift Vec C, then somewhere like Timpsons can cut it for you for about £5. If you have the facelift, then you need the carpass. I may be wrong though.

I'll report back as soon as i've had mine done

Face lift or pre facelift u still need car pass! And timpson wont do it, there was a thread on here i started on this about 20 pages long and a few people got turned away from them or they was saying they want 80 quid to cut it lol, u need a good small backstreet store then they can do it! For a fiver.,trust me had one done.

Cool, I'll Check them out. Hopefully our local Timpsons will be ok, they did an Alfa key for me that i supplied back in January for a fiver. If they get arsey, I know a great one in Low Fell but they'll probably charge a tenner
