    Default windscreen wipers ???????

on my way out tonight my passenger side wiper stopped working, i would think it is just the linkage that has failed. can anyone tell me if there are any diagrams or photos anywhere on the site as it is too dark for me to look tonight and would like to be prepared to look in the morning. also a price and a part number would be very helpful ?
    cheers steve

Steve's how to is a cracker.. and yes it sounds like your wiper rack linkage has failed...

They are around fifty quid plus vat, and are 'involved' but not a total swine to fit... as memory serves there is a part number on the thread..

When i fitted the heated washed jets i noticed that the wiper linkages are EXACTLY the same as the Nissan Bluebird ones, they use to go every winter

    dead easy repair

disconnect the 2 parts, fit a rubber band over the one linkage, clip back in place, and then put the rubber band over the linkage, lasted 3 years before i sold the car, and the guy who bought it, still has the rubber band fitted

As Mark has said, it's a pretty fiddly job to do, but not too hard, I did my brothers (Which is my old Vectra C) a while back.
