    Default my car has a mind of it's own

    hi, just wondering if anyone has any ideas what coulb be wrong with my vectra 1.9cdti. when travelling at reasonable speed & accelerate the car pulls to the left & as soon as i release the accelerator it stops pulling. the tyre pressures are ok & the brakes don't seem to be binding. my initial thoughts are that the bushes are goosed in the front wishbone arms but there's no obvoius play when i give the wheels a wobble. any pointers would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers

    Have the tracking checked before you resort to replacing any components.

    if youve hit a pothole or kerb etc that can knock the tracking out so as rebellion said probably better to get it checked out first and save a couple of quid if you dont need to replace anything

    Update;

    had the wheels off today to change the engine & gearbox oil & the front bush on the drivers side wishbone has quite a lot of play on it when you try to turn the wheel by holding the brake disc, which i think would cause the car to pull to the left.

    cheers

    was just about to comment to say wishbone, a sign of them being knacked is pulling to one side under acceleration then not(or to the opposite side) under de-celerating
