    Default Help airbag

    Hi a freind of mine has an Astra cdti estate,can antone tell me how to turn Airbag off on passenger side so that a child seat can be fitted

    You cant.

    Although if its a Vauxhall seat they have transponders in them so the car knows there is child seat and disables it (I think)

    i wasn't sure wether you cud turn airbag off by opening the cover on side of dashboard passenger side and maybe a switch or something in there ?

    That was an optional extra, not standard fit.

    Back to original question, put the little darling in the back - that way you won't be so distracted while driving and you will have to pull over instead of just reaching out to do whatever.
