    Default griding niose

while driving out low rev or on hills and when the engine has to work i have got a griding noise from the passangers side wheel area . i have justed had the clutch and flywheel done and it been doing it for some months now but seems to be getting worse . it sounds like cogs notching together. i have had all the strut and bushes checked and changed . the only thing i can think of left is the cv joint. please help

I cant see it being your CV, jack your car up and spin the wheel, and you may hear the grinding noise, and if the wheel resists, it could be your pads are sticking or a caliper on its way out.

i have checked the brakes they spin fine and the noise does'nt happen when i spin it like that . it only happens when the car is moving . i thought it might be the gear box but it still makes the noise when i put my foot on the clutch . i have read on here about the wishbone making a noise .but i did'nt think it would sound like cogs grinding together. could it be this ?

could it be the hub even if theirs no movement in it. because my local garage had a quick look after jacking it up and said he cant see or feel anything wrong. i doing my head in its been six months now its getting worse . from in the car it sound like its coming from the passagers side wheel area . thats why i was thinking the cv/ driveshaft or wishbone or hub . droplinks been done and the arb bushes and the springs
