P0234 Error,Remapped Signum 2.8 Turbo

hello guys
been getting the P0234 error
( boost pressure control circuit positive deviation ) present

have looked at boost pipes and intercooler pipes ,no splits
and also cleaned boost sensor ( was clean )

car keeps going into limp mode when accelerating hard .
it clears when you restart the engine
but the car seems very slow and slugish


any ideas anyone

think soulman had this problem with his when remapped, turns out they needed to sort the mapping out a bit...

How long ago was it remapped and was it doing it before remapped?

nope not the Case Dean ....
mine was running fine but was getting EML on ...

well when it was remapped i had loads of problems with it and the guy was out all the time to redo it ..
turns out it was the fuel .the muppet did not tell me to use super unleaded fuel .
i put shell v power in one day
and it went like a rocket and no limp mode or errors
boosting perfect

now a couple of months later i get this error and limp mode

read another thread on here that it is underboost .

he was running a deisel tho ...........
I would get hold of your mapper again and get him to have a look ....

yes .i just noticed that it was the same problem

the mapper does not do it anymore

What plugs are you running ?? I'm aware of s e of the owner on vxronline having the same fault and having replaced the boost pressure sensor then had to have their plugs re gapped

Do you have the auto? Is it a possibility it could be the box? I had new plugs when I had mine remapped and no problems as thats what is advised... may well be the case - I also went for Denso iridium ones for Turbo performance engines which were set differently to the normal ones...
