    Default pioneer avh-3300bt

i think this may have to be my new stereo. i think a couple of people on here have it so i have a couple of questions.

can you get any reversing camera or does it only accept the ridiculously expensive pioneer one?

also, same question really for tv tuner. will an ebay jobby work with it?

i would like sat nav on it but as the rrp on the official one is £380, i think i will manage with my phone for that!

I have the 3300BT - I'll take some snaps at lunch to post up... been meaning to for a while...

I havent fitted one yet but any reverse camear will work, i've been looking at getting one of these:

    [ame]http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190594756868[/ame]

in fact, I think i may order one now! lol....

same goes for TV tuners etc, the inputs on the back are just simple RCA jobbies so you do not need to use expensive pioneer jobbies!

I was looking at getting a unit with Sat Nav, but after using dedicated nav units and the CD70 and out of date maps for ages, I decided that using my Phone would be the way to go, currently using either google maps or orange maps (free with my contract) this way the map updates are in the hands of google\orange......

I seriously considered this but decided against it in the end as the USB is front mounted and I wanted one which was rear so I could pull the lead else where inthe car and not have it on show...

I have had loads of pioneers and apart fro the issue of earthing the RC cables (done it ones and was an easy fix) they are top units.

Right now I am running a JVC in my car which was arroud the same price but offered more options (full screen etc...)

You only get an issue with earthing RCA's if you're not taking proper precautions when working on your car audio.....

The front USB doesnt bother me as I find that SD cards work better for audio anyway.... and that was the big plus point of the 3300, no USB fly lead mounted somewhere and still very discrete!

    thansk guys.

i did want a rear usb so i could hide the cable and then have a usb drive somewhere out of sight but tbh you can get pretty small usb sticks these days so less of an issue.

plus i have a spare micro sd card with adaptor anyway so that will work.

thats good news re the camera and tv tuner, if i had to use pioneer stuff i would look elsewhere.

tbh if it had a rear usb i would run a lead, hide a hdd somewhere and i would order the unit immediately but pretty sure i am going to go for it now based on these answers
