some people say remaps are better cos they adjust more parameters than a tuning box which only increases the fuel.
I have a cr tech tuning box (off ebay 80 quid ish) which they claim increases the cars bhp to 186. It does make a hell of a difference. but i will not lie to you, you tank it & it guzzles the fuel.
If your going for a remap i reccomend blanking the egr first & asking them to remove it when they do the map.
I am happy with the tuning box but wish i went for a remap in the first place.

tuning box is ok for a quick fix of bhp, imo go down the remap route get an egr delete & decent map, not only will you get good power but you will also save your manifold.

they say it does. because you can drive at higher speeds at lower revs.
eg. car b4 would only pull up hill in 3rd
with box or remap itl do it in 4th (at lower revs).
I dont have an onboard computer thingy to tell.
but im a firm beleiver anything that increases the fuel will not improve mpg
if im wrong someone correct me

in short the tb is fooling the fuel rail by dumping more fuel & that is that... more fuel = more soot = manifold & dpf (if you have one) gets clogged quicker, dies sooner...
I have been looking into this for years, long before i bought a "C", you pay your money & you take your chance... as your only in donny, travel to west yorks & get a propper map by trusted mappers...
