I bought one off of eBay a few months back, £28 - ish, no messing, I would recommend one without a second thought.
My MoT tester, one of my cousins, has one like mine but more expensive.

Halfords do a good one, not too expensive.

I bought a Laser one from Halfords, but still had to buy an adaptor off ebay to make it suitable for the Vec-C; I think as standard it was set up for Fords.

This is the one I have, its the one bottom right hand corner that fits the rear of the vec, the smallest one.

I tried to find one in every motor factors and parts place and none of the universal ones fit the vec c. So I bought the one on ebay that had the most pieces, hoping that one would fit. Luckily it had 2 that fit!

I use a small piece of brass and a g-clamp. Worked on every car I have owned and the principle is exactly the same with the rewind tool

The one I bought was the same one as DasArab's link, I would highly recomment it. The is also the one for the front caliper too (no pins).
