    Default MPG Records!

    Hi

the main reason I went for the 2.0 DTi was for economy, as I'm doing 500 miles a week for the foreseeable future.

I'd be interested to see what other peoples record is for most miles on a full tank, including you 2.2 and 1.9 guys, as I'd like to know if these other engines are more frugal than the gutless 2.0 DTi.

I had the trip computer showing over 700 miles range once, but the best I've had from a full tank is 620 miles.

Can you beat that mo' fo's?! Also, what's the worst you've had? I used to have an Accord Type-R and once got less than 280 to a full tank, but I had a fuel card in those days!

I average 600-650 miles from every tank and thats with a box fitted this mainly consists of town/a roads and single track road driving

Im sure even the 2.0t boys never mind the 3.2's will be getting alot less than 280 per tank if they are having fun

most i've ever had out of the v6 diesel is a tad over 500 miles, and that's only ever happened twice.

That's not too bad I suppose. Is the extra performance worth it?

280 to a tank at your lowest, I wish, best I've had is 250 an that's drivin normal, worst I've had is 210, I would like to install a 1.9cdti engine in the boot (i've measured and it'll fit honest)

Sweet mother of God. If I averaged 240 miles a tank, I'd have to fill up twice a week at a cost of £100! Eff that! But then, I do miss having a car that makes me smile whenever I drive it. I'm hoping to get something that does just that come January.
