Pops.... 2.0 Turbo

Does the Vectra 2.0 Turbo pop and bang like some other cars do? My Astra Sri Turbo I just sold popped and banged everytime I was out in it. It only did that when I removed the first pre cat pipe on my Astra. What's the Vectra Turbo like with the 3" downpipe fitted? I had a cat back exhaust on my last Vectra Turbo, it sounded nice but no pops like the Astra did.

Cool, I thought I never heard them on my last Vectra. Got plenty on the Astra when the pre cat was removed. Though the vectra might have been the same once the 3" down pipe was fitted. I plan to get the 3" down pipe fitted when I buy my next vectra Turbo

My old Astra was Sri Mk5 200PS XP running 244bhp with a BSR re map Stage 1

if you have it straight through and a bigger bore i bet you could make a decent racket! theres a chap witha vxr round the corner from me with a straight through 3'' with not alot else in it and that crackles like a evo when he lifts off....differant engine i know just thought id say because im jelious

spoons gets pops and bangs from his mapped VXR ...thats about the only vectra Ive heard doing it tho

even my 2.8T mapped signum with flowtech exhaust doesn,t pop and bang ......just growls

2.5" straight through here n no pops n bangs. Nice rumble though everyone that has listened has passed comment.

I get a few tiny pops when i lift off the throttle in my GSi, got a MIJ straight through exhaust and de cat plus running really rich fuel mixture.
