Default Which HID bulb to you have?

Had AC HID 6000K 35W kit fitted to my car this weekend, what HID bulb do you guys have?

Although the light is brighter, it doesn't project it further distance.

    Default

    50W 6000k for me.

Does anyone know if the proposed new MOT rules for HIDs are actually happening in January?
I was at a local MOT place today, and he hadn't heard anything about it yet.

I read the other day on another forum that although it's 'supposed' to come into force in Jan, they'll just give you an advisory up until 1st April 12, then fail any cars presented after that.

Ditto. Spoken to 3 separate testers and have all said the same thing, but would still pass the vehicle providing the beam pattern is set correctly.
