After weeks of poor lights, flickering and dimming headlights I spent some time today in the sun looking at what could be the issue?
I had fitted the extra earth bond from the engine to the chassis, but no major improvement was found.
Then today I had to sort it out!
I tested the headlight ground back to the chassis, 0.2ohm resistance, all okay.
Chassis to the battery 8.6 ohm!!!
Found the main battery cable to the NSF turret chassis grounding was faulty.
Ten minutes of cleaning the connections and putting them back its all okay.
You should all check this as the bonding bolt did not look coroded or in anyway at fault!
I will see how it goes this week, but the dimming lights when you turn the wheen have already gone!
