    Default fog lights fitting

I presume I could fit fog lights into a LS 1.8 2003 model from a higher spec model

but what ones are the correct type as it seems there are square ones and round ones...so what type is correct and what else would I require to get them all working...not afraid to do any wiring or things like that, I presume I need to change the headlight switch plate as there is no button for front fog lights

Basically as long as you fit the non-sports bumper ones you're fine.

    These ones will fit

    These ones wont

Fraz if you want it totally factory fit you will also need to change the fuse box under the bonnet(UEC), for one from a preface Elite or Sri. Theres a module built into the underside of the circuit board on the ones from the higher spec models, then you will also need a tech2 or opcom session to activate them too. I'm now on my 3rd fusebox trying to crack this and still had no luck. I have mine wired in the old fashioned way with a relay in battery box area and button on one of the spare blanks on the dash. Ill get this cracked one day. You don't actually need new grills, you can modify the original ones with a hacksaw.

Mmmmmmm older cars are much simpler lol (bit like me )

so I can fit them but I cant actually have them working by just simply changing the switch panel and installing the lights

I thought that they would simply use the top spec wiring harness for all cars so the wiring would be there behind the front grill and switch panel

they make it harder these days to upgrade your cars specs

So they old fashioned way it is I think as changing fuse box's is a bit of a pain as is getting a hold of a Tech2 to get them working, but at least they will look ok from the outside

thank you again guys ...may have to go and visit the scrap yards I think to get a few things...ebay is just more convenient than trawling round a scrap yard ..and its also saves my time
