belting pics mate....sorry to hear about your troubles, but its good to see you had a "canny" time...just what you need in present circumstances.....I hope you are ok and all goes as well as it can...
Great pictures there mate, and it was a pleasure chatting with you again on Saturday/Sunday.
Looking forward to seeing you again at the next meet...
EDIT: I've also been there and done the marriage/career meltdown thing.. its horrible at the time (5 years for me !!), but you do emerge a stronger person. Happiness is straight ahead !! - just keep going....
Chin up Neil. I've been through it a few years ago and although it hurts like hell at the time it does get easier. Trust me. Cost me a fortune in more ways that money but i would not swap the life i have with Mrs C (Mk 2) for the world.
If you need anything you know where i am m8.
Spikey, I don't know you, never spoken personally with you or shared stories. We have chatted on this forum but that's about it. I have seen pics of you though from meets etc, so at least I have seen ya rough head. Just a bit of levity mate.
I have to say that the high regard in which the people of this forum hold you, is good enough for me to think of you as a stellar bloke & I feel terribly for your situation as it is now. Other punters here have had similar issues as you are having now. My twin brothers marriage went pear shaped 5 yrs back. He had a rough time but thankfully now, he is on cloud nine.
Hang in champ & be sure to use this forum as a crutch. Strong legs & a truck load of support does this forum have.
I thought thats what this was all about Neil.
But chin up (hairy chin in your case) lifes a series of doors, as one shuts another has to open, the + & - factor.
If you are struggling, PM me and i'll tell you how to proceed, have a very good formula for moving on, tried and tested.
You got a lot to offer mate, dont dwell and look forwards, in a short while things will look a whole lot better trust me.
Thank you all once again for your support and kind words.
Things are starting to look somewhat brighter today. As some of you know I had stage one of the interview process for a driving job up in Kent on Tuesday. Had a message this afternoon to say that I'd scored highly on the first stage so i'm being invited for a driving assessment on Monday morning
Wish me luck!
Like been said I have never met you but people on here hold you in high reagard on here and that says a lot.
I also had a marriage break up due to her having an affair about 6 years ago she got to keep my young son as well (now 7),sold house, moved back to good old Mum and Dad and a week being at home my poor old Dad passed away at the time felt like my world was going to end, but 6 years down the line and I am a lot stronger for it.
With the help and encouragement of the people of this site you will make it through.
Oh and good pictures by the way
Neil I'm really sorry to hear the circumstances of your move etc I can't say a lot more other than what's already been said by the others above You just have to keep looking forward as much as possible now I guess so good luck for Monday!
Really superb pictures there by the way It was great to see you again at the weekend and we look forward to seeing you again soon
Dave
