Default Downgrading from 19s to 18s

I know it's an unusual one but I'm struggling to be comfortable with th mrs driving the car with the snowflakes on, They've just been refurbed and already she's managed to get a very small scuff on one, although it's enough for me to notice. So I'm considering dropping down to 18's so as there's the slightly bigger profile, probably vxr one's i guess. Anyone else done this? still on standard suspension and it will be staying that way so Just wanting opinions from people on how it changes the look etc, don't want it to look like a 5p piece in my wheel arch!

Easy solution, dont let the mrs near it!!!!!

However, 19s for show 18s for go.

I'm still on 17s and they dont look too small, 18s will still look fine mate, of course wont have the impact snowies do!

If only I could do that, unfortunately she's doing 40mile a day for her work so my bus is better than her corsa on fuel. I'm considering 18 vxr replicas, I need to think more about practicality as opposed to looks, esp if she's going to be driving it.
Degsy1234 - It's a deal....plus several hundred pounds! A bit annoyed becaused they have been refurbed just weeks ago and have 2 new tyres plus 2 excellent condition. Maybe it'd be cheaper to trade the mrs in!
Disclaimer - Admin I am joking re the swap, I am not trying to turn this into a wanted thread. Please don't zap me with the Banning tool

The refurb on the alloys will cost more than you are saving on fuel, put her in her place and stick with her corsa!!!!!!

Refurb was already done, money spent so it's in the past. It doesn't need refurbed again to be honest, just me being fussy. She'll need to be driving it i doubt i'll get a way around that, so 18's I think is def going to be a safer option. I've had a look around, some of them seem to be selling for funny money. £600 requiring refurbed and not great tyres, is that right?
