Astra Vxr Help

Ive looked around google for problems and running costs as im thinking of changing but thought id ask on here for some help?

er turbos mate make shore they run nice and abused one has a verr ruff tickover two friends have them one looks after his other hammers it belive it or not the one who looks after his its a dream to drive

i dont think you have to of owned one as i said two of my friensds have them and i work on there cars with both of them they seem to suffer with the turbos dont no why and people mapping them wrong as my mate learnt

I would only take someone's opinion if they have owned a car

My mate owns one and has had no issues

Never heard of a problem with the turbos on the Astra, I have heard about the issues with the M32 gearbox though

Valve stem oil seals are weak and cause a puff of oil some times

From hanging around vxr online here is what I have heard. Ive not heard much of turbo problems although manifolds are prone to cracking and the gearboxs are very weak.
