Took the plunge...

Been looking today around all the garages and eventually saw a Vectra I actually liked....Had my heart set on a VXR but the fuel costs were just too much to stomach. So I went and put a deposit down for an 07 1.9 150 Auto Can't wait to pick it up! Just thought I'd let y'all know.

yeah i know mate haha, decided I may as well get something for now to last me 3 years till I save up enough to get an Insignia VXR instead...Saw a few Vec VXR's over the past few months and fell in love with them, but decided to be sensible for a while, got a free 3 year warranty with it so though 'why not'? haha...

Any idea how much better the engine performs with a greenbox on?

Well I've always had manuals up to now, had a canny few cars as well haha.

Started with a Corsa, then went to a RenaultSport Megane, then a punto with a coupe engine in, then had a Mondeo TDCI Auto (new shape) hire car and I fell in love with auto's...Obviously not as quick as a manual but just so relaxing to drive.

Never experienced a Vauxhall auto though, any idea what they're like?

I read somewhere a while ago that something usually needs doing at around 60k on the 1.9's, do you know what it is? Still a few miles to go before that though

prob oil change i would think and filters in the gear box
