    confused handbrake

    How do I adjust the handbrake comes up bit high and when its off its slack

    they're self adjusting... try pumping the brake pedal till it goes hard with engine off, then lift the handbrake without pressing the ratchet release button... repeat a few times until the cable has adjusted.
    If it fails to adjust, you need a new cable.

    New cable isn't difficult to fit (there's a How To on here)

    Might be worth getting the back end up on axle stands and just pulling on the handbrake, and seeing if it actually hold the rear wheels.

    One of your callipers my have a stuck piston. It's recently happened to me, changed the cable, the discs and pads. Ended up with a new calliper too.

    Tried this didn't do nothing tho the car hasn't had new pads on the car and discs on rear have lines will the discs and pads on eBay be ok discs have grooves and drilled come with pads aswell 159 pound or would I be better with flat discs cheaper option
