I'm happy with my current vec 1.9, 16v elite... i'm a big fan of the insignia & i have driven a few... i'm now going to hold out for the cdtti 4x4 tourer.

You get no where near them urban figures I'm on about 36 mpg around town but motorway driving is better and you can get over 60 mpg

Problem is the insignia is heavy and you have to drive on boost or car bogs down, you could improve urban mpg by driving like miss daisy but you would be juddering around everywhere.

But I still say the insignia is a better drive and I love every minute of it , plus the 130bhp and 160bhp are the same but different maps but according to BSR if you remap the 130 you get the same power output as the 160 whitch is near 200 bhp

    Irmscher Insignia CDTI 130

MOD'S...Irmscher front spoiler, Irmscher mats, Irmscher door pins, Irmscher rear spoiler, Irmscher grille, Irmscher skirt & exhausts,Irmscher Roof spoiler MOD'S TO COME..Side skirts,Wheels

After having 2 Vectra 1.9 150's and an Insignia 2.0 160, and have towed with them all, our caravan is 1455kg's.

The Insignia is far better than the Vectra in pretty much every way, the only down side to the Insignia is that it is a little more thirsty.

this is nothing against the Vectra as it still is a cracking car, but the Insignia is in another league in terms of drivability, build quality etc.
