Default Got new plate. Which holders?

My fiancee has just bought he a personalised plate for my birthday and to spruce it up whilst im changing it and to make a cleaner job of it i was thinking about putting a couple of chrome holders on my car.

The ones im looking at are these:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1208097063...84.m1423.l2649

Anyone any experience? Are they secure, good quality and look ok? Or anyone recommend any other better ones?

For future reference for the spotted section.. My fiance calls me Lotso... lol and the plate is very similair to that . Dunno how im to explain this one down the pub! haha

looks good ...its a bit like the Irmscher ones ,so becareful with the bottom slat ...they seem to break easily ...but if your not swopping in showplates every now and then you should be ok ...

I used the double sided pads from halfords. Fantastic they are and no holes in the plate

I prefer the cleaner look without the holders tbh... Just using the sticky tape as mentioned above. No holes in the plate and it curves round the front bumper rather than the plate holder sticking out at the edges

Ended up sticking them straight to the car in end. Holders looked good when i fitted them but as mentioned, they stuck out on the ends on the front. Tried sticking ends down with pads but had no joy with it. Didnt fancy drilling additional holes to hold ends down, just to find i wouldn't fit the plates in very well (They seemed far too thick for the holders tbh! Very akward to fit!). Guess they'll end up on our lass's car for xmas! lol
