I can only imagine it might be a 'bolt-on' part but as the SRi lower rear bumper is already lower, you'd end up with it scraping along the ground ?

No thats wrong, if it's the skirt it just goes straight on, if it's the diffuser then all you have to do is cut the 2 little plastic legs off the Sri bumper to fit it. The diffuser ONLY fits the Sri/sports bumpers, although I belive it has been made to fit a none sports bumper in the past. It wont fit an Sri properly if you have gen Vec c mudguards though. The xp kit is just the skirt/spoiler slapped on an Sri bumper after all.

I just had to confirm what it was as spoiler to me would be the skirt in my eyes but the part number says its the Vxr insert. Yes it will fit your xp but you have to prise your xp skirt off a bit as it fits underneath, and you will also have to cut two plastic legs off your bumper, but there only little. I have both in my cellar so I'll take a pic to show you how the xp skirt locks the insert in place. I hope your not paying much more that 40 quid, as autovaux do them for £37 if I remember rightly.

You can see how the insert sits in the recess of the skirt, so you have to be able to move the skirt out the lock the inserts tabs into your bumper.
