mate this has been happening to mine and a few other peoples cars aswell.

is it mist, or real condensation? if it is just mist and it clears itself up i would suggest leaving it. i thought about unclipping the lens and resealing aswell, but i reckon it will potentially cause more hassle

if it obscures the beam, yes.. it will fail if the pattern isn't correct.

before rushing out for a new lamp unit, check that the bulb covers on the back are well seated to the lamp body and that they are sealing.. You'll often find that a misty N/S lamp is caused by sloppy filling of the washer fluid and water splashing on the back of the lamp..

I'm also going to experiment with lamp lense removal as i know a freind with a scuffed AFL lense who would love to pay for a cheaper repair than 400 quid for a new unit..

you could always give it the hairdryer treatment, then see if the condense re-forms??

When i first bought my vec about a year and a half ago i noticed after a few days that condensation was inside the the front lenses.I took it back to the stealers who checked the seals. They told me there were no leeks and that it would gradually clear."Year right" i thought, ime being fobbed of here. But know they were right and it did clear.I did use the hairdryer method, but it kept coming back,so i left it.Aint been back since.

Funny enough I noticed this on mine for the first time last nite, misty condensation evenly along the bottom part of both lenses.

    Question

I also have had this since a pressure wash on the car on Sunday it steamed up while pressure washing (it was hot hot water) but i noticed it when i filled up on Tuesday as well i assumed it would dry out, car is about 4 months old do you reckon the stealers would do anything or give me the 'leave it' line as well??
