retro fit of drl's

i've got the poverty spec model with no front fogs ,i'm fancying fitting drl's in the grill where the fogs would normally be. will there be a problem fitting them here and can i just wire a switch to the dash to turn them on/off ,just wonder with the canbus system if it would flag anything up Thanks in advance mrk

Many people fit them with no errors atall why not find some fogs and wire them in

Be the same is say to fit fogs plus fogs look much better.
Imo I think drl look tacky unless there factory
If was me I would fit fogs get some Signum surrounds and use the normal button on dash get all the wireing from a scrap car
