Hi. I am lucky to be the proud owner of a 53-plate, sapphire black (metallic), 3.2-litre, manual Vectra GSi - bog standard, as far as I can tell, apart from fairly heavily-tinted side and rear windows!

The GSi replaces my beloved but aged 1997 R-plate Omega Elite 3-litre automatic. That was quite a car when I first got it but developed a bad misfire due to losing compression on one cylinder (50%).

I am really pleased with the GSi so far. It is completely different in character from the Omega - much stiffer, harder damped and sprung and quicker... and I love it!

As soon as I can, I'll post some pictures of the car. It needs a thorough clean first! I have a couple of old car restoration projects on the go and bought the GSi for towing but it looks much too good to slap a tow bar on!

I look forward to getting stuck in to this forum.

Paul
