    Default Is my MAF knackerd?

Sorry guys about all these questions.......

Following on from a prevous post about my unexplainable high fuel consumption it was suggested by a member that i unplug my MAF to see what happens.I did this this afternoon while the car was running and nothing happened,no changes in revs or engine noise. The spanner light did come on(which i cleared when i plugged it back in) but that was it.

I didnt drive the car as i didnt want to cause any damage.

Does this meen my MAF is faulty?

Tbh the unplugging of the sensors on the Vec are pointless omho as the engine will run on a default map where the engine effectively makes assumptions.
