I've been using only IE and MS based products, never had any problems
So much so, that we don't allow any other software to be installed

My only main issue is not being able to upgrade beyond IE8 on my main computer which uses Windows XP

m8internet - well thats because XP is getting seriously long in the tooth. Its no longer in mainstream support and will end extended support in 2 years time.

ie time to move with the times and upgrade to Win7 soon. (def skip Vista)

gsxster - can you provide a screenshot or more info?

Windows XP actually officially went end of life in 2007 as Microsoft only support their operating systems for 5 years officially. They extended this for XP because so many corporate customers use it and they'd lose a fortune if they didn't, but as said above that's not going to last much longer.

Definitely time for a Windows 7 upgrade, best operating system MS have ever made by a long way. You could hang on from Windows 8 which is due middle of next year some time, but from playing with the developer preview here at work I can tell you I personally wouldn't bother. I think MS are shooting themselves in the foot big time with Windows 8 if it stays in it's current format.

No point in doing so, the hardware works fine and never had to contact MS for support
I've also still got two computers running on Windows 3.1, again these are also fine and no issues

We also have no choice in not being able to upgrade as part of our system uses MS Access
Although for the reasons outlined above we will have no choice soon but to replace all of this
Ironically, it will be the end of any and all MS software within our organisation
