    confused super Glue

I debadged my car a few weeks ago & one of the sri badges on the wing had been stuck back on with super glue & I can't get the s*** off. Ive used tar remover, sticky stuff remover, nail polish remover etc, has anyone got any ideas.

    Cheers

The only things that will get rid of superglue will also get rid of the paint (acetone is the main one for removing superglue).

The only real fix would be to wetsand it to get rid of the glue very carefully and hope you don't go through the paint. It can then be polished back up. Chances are though you will end up going through the paint a bit and have to respray it.

The funny thing is i was going to leave the sri badges on, but i thought it would look daft cause i'd done the rest. Wish i had left them on now.

The OP mentioned using nail polish remover - which I thought the main ingredient was acetone.
