CD70 Colour Screen

Hi does anyone know if it is possible to change the map colour on the screen of the CD70, when i switch my lights it goes a tacky brown colour, is it possible to change ???

Not sure but if you like the colour with the lights off then you can set to be that colour with the lights one.

Main screen when radio on. Push setting button and set display to 'always day'

There are only two colour options..

Day time colours, and
Night time colours

The maps are indeed better in day-time colours, but the check control images are better in night time colours.

There are no other colour options.

As said above, go to the main screen showing the radio or CD details.
(Not Navi, Phone, Aux-In or BC screen)
Press MAIN if necessary

Press SETTINGS
Scroll down to DAY/NIGHT
Press the big select button (scroller button on head unit)
Scroll down to ALWAYS DAY
Press the big select button (scroller button on head unit)
Press SETTINGS to return to main screen,

I had a look in the Index of the manual and can't find reference to the "check control images"

I'm sure it's a dumb question, but it's not a phrase I've heard before.

Functions on the Display that do not relate to Navigation, Telephone or Music are not covered in the CD70 Manual.

They are covered in the Vauxhall Vectra Manual Instead.

Here is the wife's Check Control in action - I took the reverse light bulb out to check operation after programming it in in the Display and the Underhood Electrical Centre (DIS and UEC).
