Signum lowering advice please

Hi, newbie here....

Have a v6CDTi Signum, that NEEDS dropping a tad to tighten up the handling and sort the aesthetics out....

LMF detail the Eibach 'kit' for £575, but I'm not in a poition to spend that much yet, and the car has only done 37k miles so shocks should stick with me for a while right?

So who does spring kits for a Signum, and how much etc ?

LMF will also sell the spings without the shocks, I could not find them on the LMF site. I could only find the Vec-C estate LINK but before i fitted my Signum with the Irmscher kit i purchased a spring kit from LMF. I think the price in the link is very close if not the same for Signum's...

Pm Andy vec as i think he has just changed his springs and his old springs are from a Design so are lower than yours not sure on the weight issue though but i am sure someone will know !!!

Nice thinking Chris, But the weight thing is a problem with this idea. The 3.0 Ltr is all alone in the weight area. Do you remember when i tried to sell the Eibach spring i bought, They are not any good for any other engine because of the axel weight...

Unfortunately Andyvec's springs wouldn't be any use Drinky. The 3.0CDTi has a lot heavier front axle weight due to the lump of an engine it has, a lot heavier than the 1.9CDTi - so it's not going to be advisable to fit those springs.

Edit: Started to type this reply then the phone rang! - so just seen Cabby's reply as I posted!

As Cabby said, you can just get spring kits from Eibach or Irmscher even. As yours is an Elite, I would seriously consider replacing the dampers at the same time (may need to wait until you have the cash) as you'll be putting lowering springs on the Elite dampers - so you'll probably end up with a 'double bounce' due to the stiffer springs but still having the longer travel dampers. You'll also wear out your dampers quicker by using lowering springs on those dampers.
