I thought i'd share a few of the snaps that i took on Sunday at the MPH show in Earls Court on Sunday.
I was VERY surprised at the number of cars that were there, i thought the main attraction was the Top Gear 'show' and there would be a few cars scattered around the place, but when i say the place was packed with cars i mean it!! On two levels aswell. The upper level was for the classic cars and the lower for all the modern sutff.
A few from the lambo owners club:
The Spyker manufacturer is one to look out for, their cars wer fantastic!
Ferrari Enzo, Merc SLR and a super modded Merk CLK AMG that had a price tag of £230k!!!
Shelby GT500 - Gone in Sixty Seconds Replica (ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAR!!!)
And ofcourse a few of the Vauxhall stand where they were keeping the Corsa VXR securely under wraps!
Not at all impressed with the new Lotus, the rear end looks okay but the front is just terrible, side by side against the current Elise, it was this car that looked dated, not the other way round!
I'm hoping to go next year again, we were there for about an hour before we had to go to our show and i can tell you that i nowhere near enough time to have a good look at all the cars that were there. I've got more pics that i might post up later. We didn't even get time to go to the paddocks after the show because i had to get back and go to Watford to watch Borhat.
The show itself was fantastic, with the highlight being a 3D visual on a huge screen where they reproduced the old apache trying to lock onto a lotus. But this time the apache was digital and it was trying to lock onto a jag XKR, with explosions going off everywhere, and finding myself ducking out of the way of rockets and jumping a good few times, i thought it was an excellent show.
No hampster though, Tiff took his place.
A very highly recommended day out!!
