Default New guy with a signum

Im Brett and have had a few vauxhalls in the past, Owned a couple of vectra b's including a Gsi. I have strayed away from the griffin badge for a bit but always liked the signum.
With the other half learning to drive, And me never getting chance to drive the car with out the kids in the back, and tbh the extra room would go amiss, I Sold my E46 330ci M sport for a decent wedge, my heart wasnt really in it to sell it. But first buyer turned up and gave me over what I wanted so couldnt say no.

    So bye bye Beemer.
Was very tempted to buy another e46 330 m sport but in a estate, Also looked at some a4 avants, but I have always fancied a signum, but it had to be a Elite in black or a dark color no silver. Either pre or face lift, 1.9 or 3.0 cdti and a manual box,and resellable millage and fsh. Or a 2.8 v6 turbo but mr sensible kicked in. Plus had to have a certian degree of options added such as 19" snowflakes. So hunted around with some nice motors turning up, but missing out, plus a couple of worrying motors, this 2.2dti elite came up in dagenham on ebay it was roughly the spec I wanted, and nice motor but the auto box and the 2.2 engine put me off. Decieded last miniute to bid on it. I didnt veiw it just a quick email with the seller and the photos. I took the risk. I won the auction and collected it te following saturday. Got to the seller and I wasnt disapointed. The car is great drives superb and looks the part, only down fall was the missing rubber valence from the bumper, but other wise really chuffed with the motor, got loads of ideas for the car, such as new wheels, Coilovers to get it sat right, but at the minute enjoying driving it and have found i love the auto box, the 2.2 isnt a quick motor but it ample enough for hauling the kids about and the motorways. Would have hoped for a better mpg than the 42mpg+ but coming from the bmw I was getting 38mpg on a run, But over all it isnt a bad motor. Any tips or advice or comments would be apreciated. So hello to you all

Thank you for the welcome. The bmw wheels were X5 19"s, 10j rear and 9j fronts. Im contemplating fitting the X5 wheels to signum. I have a 10j spare to trial fit but would need to get a adapter made up.
