    Default Update on signum

    Hi Guys

just to let you all know
i sorted my signum ,with it going in limp mode and overboosting .

it was simple in the end

i changed the fuel to V Power

it now no longer goes in limp mode ,boosts to about 20psi

    no problems at all ...

why the guy who spent loads of hours on it ,mapping it and remapping it did not think of this i dont know ...

i just changed the fuel after an email from courteney motorsport saying to .

thanks to everyone who gave input

Lol. Didn't realise you were still running 95 ron petrol. Most maps on these engines are only designed to run on a min of 97 ron. If you have a tesco near you i'd suggest running the Siggy on momentum 99 for even better results (as per Thorney Motor Sports long term test) plus its actually cheaper too. Glad you got it sorted in the end too matey.

yes thats what i thought Porkballs29
i remember back in the days when i had a escort rs turbo ,and i got it chipped
i was told that i MUST use super unleaded petrol and nothing else

i asked the question when i first got the signum remapped and was told no need to change fuel .....

then when i got in touch with courtney motorsport they said that i should be using super unleaded petrol !

Tesco99 FTW matey and with the 5p off per litre it makes it as cheap as normal petrol. I can buy SUL down my way for £1.359 per litre now! Whoop Whoop.
