1.9cdti 120 glow plug replacement.

Hi all, just wondering has anyone managed to change thier glow plugs on a 1.9cdti 120. & if so how ?. i've had a bash but it seems imposible to get any kind of socket anywhere neer then due to pipework that runs above it, even getting the connectors off is a complete sod of a job. changing the thermostat was bad enough but i managed where this just seems imposible to do.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Haynes id a bit useless it says "On z19DT engines, undo the two retaining bolts, disconnect the four vacuum hoses and remove the vacuum pipe assembly from the top of the canshaft cover"

I would also remove the egr for better access to two of them.

I know they can be a pig to remove and have a tendancy to snap and leave bits still stuck in the engine.

I gave up trying to do it on my 1.9 (120) and got the garage to do it for £60 labour. Bought the plugs from VX for £40.
