Got sick of my yellow angel eyes and few bulbs had gone anyway, so I bought some single 286 smds to replace them. I've heard you can use the triple ones too but I just used single.
So I undid the bolts on top of the front bumper in between the head lights (2 of them). And the three under each wheel arch.
then I undid the bolts holding the headlights in and the plug for the electrics.
Then I unscrewed and removed main bulbs for access, then just pulled out the angel eye bulbs replacing them with leds, they are just like christmas lights the way they are wired.
NOTE******* the leds only seem to work one way. So what I did was instal all the leds, plug them quickly back into the car, then which ever leds didn't light up, I removed, turned 180 degrees and put back in. this worked on both head lights 100%.
Put everything back together and voila.
P.s. I used blue ones on the outer angel eye, just for a change really, can't really notice when main beam is on anyway, I think it looks pretty cool. Hope the pictures were helpful, took about an hour in total, and I am usually rubbish at this sort of thing!
