    anybody know how to replace the track rod on a vec c z19dth?

    You on about the outer one. Or the inner one attached to the rack its self?

    Outer ones are about half hour job. Inners will be more of a pain. An you'll need a big f type or similar

    No should be to it. But obviously will bea bit tight for movement.

    There's tools available on eBay or wteva. That might make it easier.

    No worries mate.
    From what I believe job to be.
    Remove front wheels. Pop of track rod ball joint. Remove steering gaiter and should reveal a big nut. Undo that and should come off.

    Try and count / measure threads so that wheel alignment adjustments will only be slight

    wil have to be tracked anyway as the track rod snapped after a bump

    Have you checked wishbone, sun frame etc. as must of been some bump to snap it :-S

    sub frame been replaced, wish bones appear to be okay
